Shortstop may be the most glorified position in baseball, but it is the bane of most fantasy owners’ lives, as well as the thinnest position in fantasy baseball this year (by far). Outside of Hanley Ramirez, seemingly every player at the position carries legitimate question marks. Moreover, after the first four or five shortstops are off the board, things begin to look extremely dire. Who is Elvis Andrus? Alcides Escobar? Can Jason Bartlett come close to repeating last year’s performance? Do I really trust Stephen Drew for anything related to fantasy baseball?
