Zach Randolph has been traded to the Memphis Grizzlies for Quentin Richardson, according to the Los Angeles Times.
This does much more than give the Clippers Richardson - it frees up a place in the starting lineup for number one overall pick Blake Griffin. Randolph was solid for the Clippers in 2008-09 after coming over from the Knicks in a trade, averaging 20.9 points and 9.7 rebounds per game, but just didn't fit in with the team's long term plans after getting Griffin.
