According to the St. Paul Pioneer Press, Ricky Rubio plans to remain in Spain and play out the remaining two years of his contract with DKV Joventut instead of joining the NBA.
This is bad news for the T-Wolves, but they were prepared for this which is why they took Johnny Flynn right behind him. Rubio could obviously still change his mind, but right now he seems convinced. He's even dropped the contract lawsuit against DKV Joventut, according to the Barcelona newspaper El Periodico. Rubio made $97,000 last season.
